This course provides professional training in graphic communications and its specialist techniques. It leads to job opportunities in this field, particularly those related to advertising, graphic editing, fashion, design, architecture and the media. |

Credits |

| 1,950 hours: 1,830 hours including the final project and 120 hours in companies, studios or workshops. |
Duration |
|

Two academic years plus the final project, to be completed in the first term of the third year. |

Higher Technician in Plastic arts and design in advertising graphics |
Entry requirement |
|
Secondary education qualification and a pass in the entry test set by our School, which is regulated by the Department of Education.
Students who have taken Foundations of Graphic Design and two more of the following at 'bachillerato' are exempt from the entry test: technical drawing, artistic drawing, image and graphic/plastic expression techniques.
Students who have a qualification at the same level in the same professional group or a graduate qualification in applied arts and artistic crafts are also exempt from taking the entry test.
The Department of Education also offers entry tests for specific training courses for students who do not fulfil the pre-requisites |
