This course provides professional training in self-editing, teaching students to give technical support to a designer or graphic arts specialist using IT as the primary tool.
Credits
950 hours: 865 hours including the final project and 85 hours in companies, studios or workshops.
Duration
One academic year plus the final project, to be completed in the first term of the following year.
Qualification
Technician in Plastic Arts and Self-Editing Design
Entry requirements
Secondary education qualification and a pass in the entry test set by our School, which is regulated by the Department of Education.
Students who have a qualification as a technician or higher technician in a plastic arts and design course from the same group or who have a good pass in a common applied arts and artistic crafts course, pursuant to the standards of the corresponding professional qualification, are exempt from taking the entry test.
The Department of Education also offers entry tests for specific training courses for students who do not fulfil the pre-requisites.

Access to other courses
With the technician qualification students who have attended the corresponding specific vocational course can access an Arts 'bachillerato' (high school qualification) by taking the test referred to in Article 9 of Decree 304/1995.
A higher level plastic arts and design vocational course by taking a test that is regulated by the Department of Education.
