Physical Activities and Sports Leadership

Higher Vocational Qualification  

This course provides professional training in teaching and leading games, sports, individual and team activities in addition to basic physical training activities, according to the characteristics of the activity and participants’ levels.

Duration  

2,000 hours over 2 academic years.
Training given on-site using the school sports facilities: 1,590 hours. Training in workplaces: 410 hours.

Higher Technician in Physical Activities and Sports Leadership

Entry Requirements

'Bachillerato' or FP2, a pass at the entry test or the Higher Level Access Course.

Individual physical/sports activities: football and basketball.

Basic biology and foundations of physical fitness.
Organising and running a small recreational, social and educational activities company.

   Methodology

This course uses an array of resources and strategies to foster optimal achievement, including: reading, watching films, active observation of explanations, debates, individual and group projects, and discussions. It also endeavours to develop a critical spirit, respect and participation in all students.
